Karachi (July 28): Address by Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori to School Directors of the Province

Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, stated that from August 1st to August 14th, the celebrations of Independence Day, titled “Ma’raka-e-Haq” (The Battle for Truth), should be observed with great national spirit. In this regard, educational institutions should decorate their buildings with green crescent flags, national colors, and patriotic themes.
He expressed these views during a meeting at the Governor House with school directors, principals, and officials from various educational associations across the province.
Present on the occasion were Director of School Projects (APSMA) Naveed Shaam, Finance Secretary of the All Sindh Private Schools Association Muhammad Sajid, Imtiaz Ali, Rao Mursaleen, Syed Nouman Raja, Director Shehzad Iqbal, Director of ALPHA Kashan Iqbal, Chairman of All Sindh Private Schools Haider Ali, Chairman of the All Private Schools Association Sindh Syed Tariq Shah, President of the All Private School Management Association Karachi Furqan Bilal Mahfooz, along with a large number of principals and school officials.
Governor Sindh instructed the participants that all events in schools and colleges should be organized in a disciplined and well-managed manner, ensuring the active participation of both students and teachers. He further said that the “Ma’raka-e-Haq” Independence Day celebrations are an excellent opportunity to introduce the younger generation to the struggle for independence, the sacrifices of national heroes, and to instill a strong sense of Pakistani identity.
